Google and Cuba to Sign a Deal Monday

According to a report by Michael Weissenstein of the Associated Press, the Cuban government and Google will sign a deal on Monday bringing faster internet connectivity to Cuba.  This deal follows the recently announced deals with the cruise companies Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.  The announcement is a huge step in the right direction increasing internet access in one of the countries with the lowest internet connectivity in the world.  Now we have to wait to see what happens with the General Electric (GE) deal which is eagerly awaited.
