The Russian company Power Machines will begin upgrading the sugar mills of Cuba next year, Export Sales Director Yuri Kolesnikov told the TASS News Agency yesterday. Power Machines is one of the top ten global leaders in the supply of power turbines and auxiliary equipment for hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants. Spare parts will be supplied to the turbines to upgrade and restore function to 75 turbines that existed during the time when the Soviet Union was a large presence in Cuba.
