Siemens signs energy cooperation agreement with Cuban utility UNE

Siemens has announced the signing of an energy agreement with Unión Eléctrica (UNE) to modernize the energy infrastructure of Cuba.  This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focuses on power generation and infrastructure upgrades.  The following is the press release from Siemens: “Siemens has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unión Eléctrica (UNE) the Cuban state-owned utility with the intention to modernize the energy infrastructure of the country.
